Cleansing

So everyone brushes their teeth 2x a day, from when you start growing them. Yes teeth are extremely important, but not as important as the largest organ on the body. Skin. Imagine if we didn't have skin? We wouldn't be alive compared to If we didn't have teeth, we would only have a minor problem.
So at an early stage in our lives, we are all taught how to brush our teeth. But who was their to teach us how to take care of our skin?

The first step in any skin care regime is to cleanse. Cleansing is important for many different things such as lifting and removing impurities, debris, pollution, bacteria, oil, sebum, dead skin cells and makeup.

Cleansing also preps the skin for treatment, and helps any other product you use, such as your serums and moisturisers, to penetrate deeper into the skin.

If you don't cleanse every day, all of this builds up. Therefore causing many things to occur including, breakouts, pimples, dry skin or oily skin, and it can also speed up the ageing process.

A Cleanser can come in many forms. YOU just have to use one, morning and night, to keep your organ healthy and young.
The next step is exfoliating.

  1. I only wash my face once a day with a cleanser in the shower. That's it (unless I was wearing makeup, sweating heavily, etc). Cleansing IS important but I find the less I do with my face, the better my skin appears :) I guess my skin got used to my laziness!
